No Formal Training

Ahhh, the things you find online, from people offering friendship based on mutual likes or dislikes to...... other things that aren't really family friendly. And of course that means sooner or later you will see MEMES being posted, shared and commented  upon. And some can be funny, others bewildering, and some, perhaps best left to be forgotten about. This is one I've decided to take a bit further. Hence the taste test. So what could possible have made think this was a good combination? Better question, what was the person who made this meme in the first place thinking of at the time? My first thought came to Doctor Who. More specifically Matt Smiths Doctors food choice after he had regenerated, the rather unusual combo of fish fingers and custard. And some people have tried it. Or at least have said they've tried it, and say it taste great. Or so they say. Other have filmed themselves eating it and put it online! So who am I to not try the same?  ...

Yeah, another food review, in my defence, I was hungry. And I still am.

This isn't a review of any old ready meal, this is a review of a Marks and Spencer's ready meal..... if that sounds like a reference and you don't get it, your probably not British! Marks and Spencer is a British shopping outlet type shop type thing, that is known for high quality, high priced goods, and they've not been in the best financial position over late over the last decade or so. But they still have a certain hold on the market and in the collective mindset of the UK population so let's take a look at one of their ready meals, a Lincolnshire sausage cobbler no less? You don't know what that is? Then watch the video to find out.

So continuing my look at camping food, here I go diving into another boil in the bag pack of goodness from Wayfrer. This time, cold from the bag. Sounds tasty.

Every now and then I like to go out for very long walks along the coast, in the wilderness, and any other place where I can get away from the humdrum boredom of everyday real life.  But there's always one thing we really need no matter where we are or what we are doing.  And that is to eat.  And drink. And with that in mind I went to my local camping shop,  Ok, a camping shop nearby me, and bought a load of stuff for just that. That's right, it's another haul, and best off, it's all practical stuff that could be handy. For once As always, click below for more subsistence. I mean food for thought. I mean, the main course..... I knew I should have picked something other then the food packets for my thumbnail. Nom nom nom.
