Cumbria is one of most Northern parts of England, along with Northumberland they contain the entirety of Hadrian's wall and once you pass their borders north, you are into Scotland itself. Ahhhh, I meant to get this posted up here yesterday, but better late than never, eh? Continuing my series of reviews of role playing adventure gamebooks from yesteryear, this review looks at the third Transformers book, "Dinobot War" as YOU team up Grimlock to defeat the Decepticon tapebots, Ravage and Lazerbeak as they try to screw up the timeline in ancient prehistoric times. Grimlock has to save the timeline? We are soooooooooooo doomed.

As if the title doesn't give it away :D Adventure game books were a staple of the 80's for many a child growing up then. Whether it was the more in depth Fighting Fantasy series by Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone and an army of writer underlings and illustrators breathing life to their worlds, or the simpler but still challenging Chose your own adventure series, or any of the rival stories using similar systems, these were a great way to spend a few hours and let your imagination go wild. Not that I've been anywhere other than where I would usually be, it's just, I've been rather neglectful of this blogger, and while I'll be honest and admit I'm not too sure about how to best use it, I figure I should be using it anyhow, as best as I do know how anyways. So what is my aim with this thing right now? First of all, brush up on my skills on how to use it, frankly it's been awhile and I've never found it too user friendly to begin with anyhow, so I need to brush the dust off so to speak. Secondly update some of the pages here and the links they have. I'm active on plenty of other social media type things but I've not update the links to them from here. And that has now been resolved. Thirdly, put up some new channel art I've been messing around with for awhile. It's still pretty much in keeping with the old art, but a bit more revised and clearer to my mind. So how do you review a wok properly? How else but with a fry up?

So I've got myself a Velbon up-400 monopod, and I've got to say, I really like it. It's added some great stability to my camera when I take pics outdoors, it's easy to carry and use and helps give you some leverage if your in the "wilds" and the grounds a bit awkward. It's multi section, strong and lightweight, and I find when taking panoramic it really does help make sure I get a good solid level to work with when turning the camera from point A to B to C and so on. Of course I still have a long way to go with my own camera skills, I could do with a better lens methinks. I've used it a lot more since I've done this initial review and I've found out a few more things about it since then, so I might need to revisit it. So I've not been using my blogger a lot, at all since December 2015 to be exact, and that's simply laziness on my part, and I intend to fix that. I've updated it with a whole load of my review videos, the blogs themselves are live but still need some more editing, which is far from perfect and certainly acceptably as they stand but I do intend to do something about them as soon as I can.
