Poundland haul reviews.

Image
So I decided to go and do an old school review, like what I used to when i first started the channel many moons ago, and pay a quick trip to the local poundworld to see what cheap rubbish they had on offer. Oh what fun. Well, sometimes you can get more cheap and nasty rubbish then you know what to do with, and for a price that is almost the right price it makes it much easier to be tempted to do a review like this. doesn't it? Let's be honest, most of the stuff I've gotten from poundworld is nothing but pure naff rubbish. But on the other hand chances are I've just introduced you to a word you've probably never used before.

The Babyliss hair trimmer

Some boxes of Lego!

Image
So today is a bit of a two for one, as I look over a box of lego and have to allow for some dodgy audio, by re-recording my audio altogether after filming. Oh and I had problems with my lighting. Ahh, youtube, the things I learn by making videos. So, what is this you see before you? Why it's ANOTHER box of lego. A box of Classic Lego, a BIG box of Classic Lego. But you need stuff to make art with so that's what we are looking at today. Well it took a while due to technical "gremlins" but here's the rest if my review of the art supplies I got. Up now, the easel.

Some photography experiments. Long exposure.

Photography has become something of a passion project of mine, and while Winter was with us I decided to make some good use of the dark nights and try some night-time photography. And here's some of the results. Part One comes first. Part Two comes second. Another look at some of my night-time Photography interest/passion/obsession while Winter was with us and Iwas trying to make some good use of the dark nights. Modifying some Lego kits

Image
So today I rebuilt an existing Lego car set into something else altogether. Well, it's still a car, just not the same car. And here we go with another of my customised lego racers, rebuilt out of the ashes of a set I built, then unbuilt, then built into this.

Some photography fun, long exposure.

Image
So, which is better when it comes to down to it?  It's monopod vs tripod. Both beat freehand when it comes to stabilisation, but can you do with a monopod what you can with a tripod when your trying some slow shutter speed photography? Here's a little montage of some pics I took just last night for my own education.
